
A short stay visitors visa is required for non-visa exempt foreign nationals who wish to visit South Africa for tourism purposes for a period not exceeding 90 days. This period can be extended in South Africa for a further 90 days. Certain persons are visa exempt when coming to South Africa for a period of 90 days or less by way of their nationality. Duration
A short term visitors visa is generally granted for 90 days. Provided that there are no restrictions to the visa , this period can be extended in South Africa for a further 90 days. Those wishing to extend this period must do so 60 days prior to the expiry of their visas. i.e. within the first 30 days of their visa being granted.
